Lifetime warranty

Effective Date: January 1, 2026

At Woodek Design, we take immense pride in the heirloom quality of our furniture. We stand behind our craftsmanship and materials, ensuring that your investment is protected for years to come. This warranty is our commitment to excellence and your assurance of quality.

1. The Lifetime Guarantee

Woodek Design warrants the following components to the original purchaser for the useful life of the product, provided it remains in the possession of the original owner and is used under normal residential conditions:

•           Structural Frame: All solid wood frames, internal joints, and corner blocks.

•           Suspension System: All sinuous springs, webbing, and coil systems.

•           Casegoods: Structural integrity of solid wood tables, desks, and storage units.

2. Limited Duration Coverage

Certain components are subject to natural wear and are covered for the specific periods listed below from the date of delivery:

Component: Warranty Period; Scope of Coverage; Mechanical Parts - 5 Years

Drawer glides, hinges, and integrated hardware.

Cushion Cores - 3 Years

Loss of resiliency (subject to Section 3).

Textiles & Leather - 1 Year

Seam slippage, fraying, and manufacturing defects.

3. Critical Exclusions and Definitions

To provide clarity and prevent disputes, the following conditions are strictly excluded from coverage:

•           The 1-Inch Cushion Rule: "Normal softening" of foam and fiber is a natural characteristic of high-end seating. A manufacturing defect is strictly defined as a loss of resiliency where the foam core fails to recover to within one inch (1") of its original height.

•           Environmental & Humidity Factors: Wood is a "living" material. This warranty does not cover checking (fine surface cracks), warping, or splitting caused by extreme changes in temperature or humidity. Proper climate control in the home is required to maintain wood integrity.

•           Finish & Aesthetics: We do not warrant against the "mellowing" (darkening or lightening) of wood finishes due to UV exposure. Scratches, dents, or damage from household cleaners and spills are considered "wear and tear."

•           Textile Pilling: Pilling (the formation of small balls of fiber) is a result of use and friction, not a fabric defect, and is not covered.

•           Aftermarket Treatments: The application of any third-party "stain protection" or chemical treatments voids this warranty in its entirety.

 4. Terms and Remedies

If a covered defect is found, Woodek Design will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace the defective component.

•           Labor & Shipping: During the first twelve (12) months of ownership, Woodek Design will cover reasonable labor and shipping costs for valid claims within the contiguous United States.

•           Post-Year One: After the first year, all costs for transportation, shipping, and on-site labor are the responsibility of the purchaser.

•           Maximum Liability: In no event shall the liability of Woodek Design exceed the original purchase price of the product.

5. Claims Procedure

To file a claim, please send us an email: info@woodekdesign.com, and submit:

1.        Your Original Sales Receipt.

2.        Photographs of the entire piece and close-ups of the specific defect.

3.        A brief description of the environmental conditions (location in home, proximity to heat sources).
