Limited Lifetime Warranty
Solid wood construction. Lifetime structural coverage. Original purchaser.
Effective Date: January 1, 2026
For more than 25 years, our family has built furniture meant to be lived with and passed down. Every Woodek Design piece is handcrafted from solid American oak or walnut by European artisans, never from particle board or MDF. This warranty is our commitment to that standard, and your assurance that the piece you bring home is built to last.
1. The Lifetime Guarantee
Woodek Design warrants the structural integrity of its solid wood furniture to the original purchaser for the useful life of the product, provided the piece remains with its original owner and is used under normal residential conditions. The following components are covered.
- Structural frame. All solid wood frames, internal joints, and corner blocks.
- Suspension system. All sinuous springs, webbing, and coil systems.
- Casegoods. The structural integrity of solid wood tables, desks, and storage pieces.
What Is Covered
A covered structural defect is a failure in the construction of the piece that keeps it from performing as intended under normal residential use. This includes:
- Frame failure or breakage that results from a defect in the wood or its construction, rather than from impact or misuse.
- Joint or connection failure, where parts loosen, separate, or become unstable because of a manufacturing defect.
- Hardware failure, such as leg mounts, support brackets, and fasteners, that leaves the piece structurally unstable under normal use.
- Manufacturing defects present at the time of delivery that affect how the piece performs.
For upholstered pieces, the internal frame and suspension are covered here for the useful life of the product. Cushion cores and textiles are covered for the periods set out in Section 2.
Coverage Period
This structural coverage lasts for the useful life of the product, for as long as it remains with its original owner.
Who Is Covered
This warranty extends to the original purchaser only and is not transferable. Proof of purchase, your original sales receipt, is required to begin any claim.
2. Coverage by Component
Some components wear naturally with daily use and are covered for a defined period from the date of delivery.
| Component | Coverage period | What is covered |
| Mechanical parts | 5 years | Drawer glides, hinges, and integrated hardware. |
| Cushion cores | 3 years | Loss of resiliency, as defined in Section 3. |
| Textiles and leather | 1 year | Seam slippage, fraying, and manufacturing defects. |
3. What This Warranty Does Not Cover
Solid wood and natural textiles are living materials. They settle, mellow, and develop character over time, and that character is part of what makes each piece one of a kind. The following are a normal part of ownership rather than defects, and fall outside this warranty.
- Cushion softening. Foam and fiber soften gradually with use, which is expected in fine seating. We consider a cushion defective only when its core fails to recover to within one inch (1") of its original height.
- Wood movement. Solid wood responds to its environment. Fine surface cracks (checking), warping, or splitting caused by significant changes in temperature or humidity are not covered. A stable indoor climate helps your furniture age well.
- Finish and surface. The natural mellowing of wood tone under light, along with scratches, dents, and marks from spills or household cleaners, is considered normal wear.
- Textile pilling. The small fiber balls that form with use and friction are a property of fabric in use, not a manufacturing defect.
- Aftermarket treatments. Applying any third party stain protection or chemical treatment voids this warranty in full.
4. Our Remedy
If a covered defect is confirmed, Woodek Design will repair or replace the affected component at our discretion.
- First 12 months. We cover reasonable labor and shipping for valid claims within the contiguous United States.
- After the first year. Transportation, shipping, and any on site labor become the responsibility of the owner.
- Limit of liability. In no case will Woodek Design's liability exceed the original purchase price of the product.
5. How to File a Claim
Fill in the contact form here and include:
- Your original sales receipt.
- Photographs of the full piece, along with close-ups of the specific concern.
- A brief note on the piece's setting, including its location in your home and proximity to any heat sources.
Because we are a family owned and operated workshop, your claim reaches a member of our team directly, never a call center. We will review it personally and make it right.
